Market Manager

Staffmark is seeking a Market Manager to drive sales and manage the operations of a branch while leading a team in a given area. The role includes supervising staff composed of Recruiting Managers and Recruiting Specialists, developing customer relationships, promoting new business, and resolving day‑to‑day issues.

Responsibilities
  • Overall financial operation and profitability of the branch, including budget preparation, financial reporting, profit‑margin monitoring, and ensuring order fill rates for placements meet or exceed targets.
  • Promote teamwork, maintain open communication with superiors, peers, and subordinates, discuss and resolve problems, and conduct regular staff meetings to align with branch and company goals.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by monitoring activity, adjusting plans or services, visiting customers in person, identifying additional needs, and arranging value‑added services such as job shadows.
  • Participate in branch goal‑setting, provide input on short‑ and long‑range business plans, plan future staffing needs, and arrange methods for servicing orders.
  • Generate new business and increase sales and profits by preparing proposals, negotiating terms, monitoring advertising media, contacting companies, coordinating sales efforts, and ensuring maximum efficiency.
  • Enhance company image in the community by building relationships, participating in local organizations, and presenting opportunities.
