Overview
Villa Fairmont MHRC is a licensed 96‑bed Mental Health Rehabilitation Center serving adults 18‑65.

Mission StatementTelecare will deliver and manage excellent services and systems of care for persons with serious mental illness.
Position ObjectiveThe Mental Health Worker is the treatment team member responsible for providing care to meet the physical and psychological needs of clients through direct and indirect services.
Shifts AvailableOn Call | Shifts and days vary as needed.
CompensationExpected starting wage is $21.78 and is commensurate with relevant experience.
Qualifications- One year of experience with nursing and/or psychiatric clients in a clinic, hospital or long‑term care facility.
- Basic psychiatric and nursing skills including interventions.
- CNA certification or equivalent acceptable.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Good communication skills and desire to work with severely mentally impaired adults.
- Finger printed, sign under penalty of perjury, DOJ clearance required.
- Demonstrate Telecare mission, purpose, values and beliefs in everyday language and contact with clients, the public and staff.
- Provide safe, effective and efficient direct care per policies and standards.
- Maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and model positive hope and attitude.
- Attend and participate in community meetings and groups.
- Document client activities, responses to interventions and behavior changes.
- Admit and discharge patients as assigned and complete associated documentation.
- Collect specimens and obtain vital signs and weights as assigned.
- Assist clients at mealtime and provide monitoring including rounds, seclusion, restraint supervision and smoke breaks.
- Participate as a team member and provide input via observations and concerns.
- Review and implement client treatment plans and attend multidisciplinary meetings.
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing policies and procedures related to direct and indirect care.
- Observe, record and report client behavior.
- Review admission documentation and assist in client reviews.
- Promote and assist clients in developing self‑help skills and explain policies to clients and families.
- Maintain effective and courteous working relationships with clients and staff.
- Protect confidentiality of employee and client information.
- Focus on assigned tasks, seek and implement improvements.
- Understand and demonstrate safety program in all activities.
- Attend all assigned in‑service education classes.
- Role‑model excellent professional practice and dressing appropriately.
