Job Summary and Qualifications- Seasonal position: full‑time, PRN NIGHT shift, six shifts per pay period, from October 2025 to April 4 2026.
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.”
The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
- Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate patient needs to resolve them proactively.
- Teach patients/families/caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow‑up measures. Translate complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
- Teach patients/families/caregivers about non‑medicinal follow‑up measures, such as healthy diet and exercise, disease prevention, and/or other lifestyle changes. Prepare patients and families/caregivers for future self‑management.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC)
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
