Job Summary

Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you love inspiring people? Looking to join a fun team? The Exercise Coach is seeking full and part-time Health and Fitness Coaches in San Juan Capistrano, to deliver individual and small-group exercise training to clients of all age groups and abilities, using our proprietary EXERBOTICS technology equipment that keeps them safe and it shows their progress during every workout.

The ideal candidate is people-oriented, energetic, passionate about good health, willing to learn, and motivated to grow with the business.

No Fitness experience is is necessary, all employees will receive full training in the The Exercise Coach methods and technologies. A passion for fitness and basic knowledge of nutrition, physiology, fitness instruction, and experience with sales and customer service are preferred. Students of Kinesiology, Nutrition, Physical Therapy, and Exercise Sciences are encouraged to apply. We have part-time and full-time positions open.

Responsibilities

Leading individual and small-group exercise sessions
· Tracking client progress and results
· Scheduling appointments and managing accounts for existing clients

Must be able and willing to follow our exercise and nutrition approach. Initial training and final certification are fully paid. We require current CPR certification by the start of employment.

Coaches are paid for all time in the studio, whether working with clients or not.

Hours:

Our studio is open from 6 AM-7 PM M-F and 7 AM-2 PM on Saturdays.

Other characteristics of an ideal candidate include being caring, upbeat, collaborative, respectful of others, professional, interested, and open to new ideas. In short, we want someone who enjoys working with people and making a difference in the lives of others because that's what we do.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required

Great communication skills, conversing in person and on the phone in a professional manner.

Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred

First aid and CPR certified

Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills
