As a Security Officer – Commercial Lobby Access in San Juan Capistrano, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for all visitors and tenants.

You will conduct routine patrols and deliver outstanding customer service, supporting a secure and professional environment. This is a driving post, and you will be part of a team that values integrity, reliability, and putting people first.

• Assist with access control procedures at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by answering questions and assisting as needed while following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter as required by the site.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Collaborate with emergency response personnel and/or local authorities when appropriate.
  
  Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
