The Quick/Express Lane Technician position includes base hourly compensation between $18.00 and $25.00 per hour. The role may also offer a production bonus based on individual or team performance, with no fixed upper limit, and a retention bonus of $0.75 per every booked hour.

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Ford standards
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay current with technology
• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made
• Day and Night Shift available

• Ford Certified
• Must have previous lube tech experience
• Previous experience at an automotive dealership
• Reynolds/Reynolds a plus
• Strong understanding of the service drive
• Years of experience vary per position
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dexterity, steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mindset
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Valid driver’s license and insurability by employer’s carrier
