Job Description & How to Apply Below

As we scale, we’re looking for a Logistics Manager to own and manage global logistics operations. This role will be responsible for carrier strategy, logistics cost and lead‑time management, contract negotiations, and day‑to‑day logistics execution, while supporting and evolving existing logistics processes. This is a highly visible, hands‑on role for someone who is detail‑oriented, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving environment.

Responsibilities

Carrier Management & Logistics Network
  • Own and manage global logistics across air, ocean, ground, and courier.
  • Define and manage shipping lanes, transit times, and service levels.
  • Select, onboard, and manage freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
  • Monitor carrier performance and drive accountability through KPIs and service reviews.
Pricing, Contracts & Cost Control
  • Lead carrier and forwarder pricing negotiations and contract management.
  • Own rate cards, SLAs, and escalation terms.
  • Track logistics spend and identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
  • Establish approval thresholds for premium or expedited shipping.
Lead Time & Delivery Performance
  • Own logistics lead times by mode, lane, and region.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and communicate risks or delays.
  • Act as the escalation owner for delayed or at‑risk shipments.
  • Balance cost and speed decisions in alignment with business priorities.
Day‑to‑Day Logistics Operations
  • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, domestic and international.
  • Provide operational support to internal teams for shipment execution.
  • Manage exceptions including missed pickups, damages, losses, or carrier failures.
  • Own freight claims and resolution with carriers and insurers.
Customs, Duty & Tariffs
  • Manage customs clearance processes and broker operations globally.
  • Review and approve shipping documentation including commercial invoices, HTS classifications, country of origin, valuation, and Incoterms.
  • Ensure duties, tariffs, and taxes are accurately assessed and charged by customs authorities and brokers.
  • Audit duty and tariff charges against HTS classifications and shipment documentation to identify errors or over payments.
  • Drive corrections, refunds, or post‑entry adjustments where discrepancies are identified.
  • Stay informed on tariff changes and trade regulations that may impact logistics cost or lead time.
  • Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations and maintain audit‑ready records.
Process & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain and refine existing logistics SOPs and workflows.
  • Identify targeted improvements to reduce cost, lead time, or risk.
