* Job Duties:

*** Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs for multinational computational software company.
* Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
* Design, develop, and debug software programs in the areas of signoff design closure using Engineering Change Order (ECO) based optimization techniques.
* Apply constrained optimization algorithms to minimize area and power consumption while maintaining frequency and Design Rule Violations (DRV) requirements.
* Understand and implement highly scalable and massively parallel multithread programming and memory organization within operating systems.
* Apply digital electronics knowledge to efficiently model the customer design scenario in the signoff optimization tool.
* Design, develop, and debug software programs in Glitch optimization and 3D Integrated Circuit (IC) designs.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to handle the requirements and dependencies to ECO flows.
* Collaborate with Product Engineering and Product Validation teams to understand customer requirements and get the feature set fully validated.

* Qualifications:

*** Master’s degree Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related engineering occupation.
* Develop and maintain complex optimization algorithms
* Develop optimizing algorithms to detect and correct glitches in timing critical paths
* Objective-based constrained optimization modelling of ECO problems
* Cross-functional collaboration for complex projects to deliver high-quality software releases
* Knowledge of digital electronics used to model complex customer designs for glitch analysis, such as gate-level behavior, setup/hold relationships and waveform propagation
* Create technical documentation and design specifications using Confluence tool to support maintainability and cross-team collaboration
* Leverage big data platforms to manage and analyze structured and unstructured Electronic Design Automation (EDA) data enhancing workflow efficiency
* Design and implement highly scalable, massively parallel, multi-threaded, multi-machine applications across various operating systems to improve EDA flow efficiency

The annual salary range for California is $187,741 to $213,200. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
