• Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for enhancements and new products, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Deliver software components for solutions for MPSoC products.
• Define the software needs for future and developing products.
• Develop Reference Designs and Platforms, including development of application software and system software code.
• Integrate software components into domain-specific software frameworks for video and multimedia.
• Develop documentation, demonstrations and work on solving customer escalations in system software.
• Set operational specifications and formulate and/or analyze software requirements.
• Participate in all phases of software development including system requirements analysis, coordinating feature design and development across functional and organizational boundaries.
• Utilize expertise with computers and electronics, including hardware and software, applications, and programming, as well as knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
• Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various company products.

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.

  Position requires two (2) years of experience in the position offered or similar engineering occupation.
• Specific skills required:
  The following skills are required:
  Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following:
• Developing and optimizing compiler algorithms;
• Designing and testing software for semiconductor devices;
• Python, C, or C++;
• Java or JavaScript;
• Computer, CPU, or GPU architecture;
• Data Structures and Algorithms;
• ASIC design;
• APIs, drivers, compilers, and Kernels; and
• Linux, Unix, or real-time operating systems.
