* Job Duties:

*** Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs for multinational computational software company.
* Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
* Develop a multi-threaded and distributed physical synthesis core engine in Innovus Implementation System, including designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging software programs in the areas of physical synthesis.
* Work on advanced parallel routing and Via Pillar features to reduce design timing.
* Work on line assignment engine for advanced technology designs, improve quality of results including design timing, power, and turnaround time.
* Work closely with product engineers and technical sales to provide engineering solutions and workarounds to drive customer success.
* Work on advanced technology design rule support in detail routing search engine.
* Work on timing and power-driven global

* Qualifications:

*** Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
* Minimum two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related engineering occupation.
* Designing and developing software tools in C and Python
* Utilizing algorithms or developing new ones, including tree/graph methods and dynamic programming
* Implementing data structures, including array, list, tree, and graph for developing complex software
* Electronic Design Automation (EDA) domain knowledge including power, performance, and timing analysis
* Linux operating system and developing shell scripts
* Hardware Description Language (HDL) to Graphic Design System (GDS) flow

The annual salary range for California is $187,741 to $213,200. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
