* Job Duties:

*** Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs for multinational computational software company.
* Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
* Utilize graduate-level research and analysis skills to keep updated with state-of-the-art literature in partitioning.
* Write functional and implementation specs for new features developed.
* Test the developed features and resolve software bugs.
* Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
* Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.
* Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation.
* Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance.

* Qualifications:

*** Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
* Theoretical foundations in graph algorithms, algorithmic complexity, netlist/graph partitioning, and optimization in distributed computing environments
* System programming, specifically Linux kernel and memory management optimization
* Advanced debugging and performance analysis using gdb, valgrind, and Linux profiling tools for complex multithreaded applications
* Object-oriented design patterns and C++
* Multi-threaded programming and concurrency control in performance-critical applications

The annual salary range for California is $151,656 to $213,200. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
