We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk.

Join Pay Pal s AI Platform team, where we build and maintain the foundational infrastructure that powers machine learning across all Pay Pal domains. Our team operates the Simulation platform for MDLC, enabling data scientists and engineers company-wide to develop, test, and deploy ML models that impact millions of transactions daily. You ll work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and real-world financial applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems  a Senior Software Engineer, you ll deliver complete solutions across the full SDLC for our Simulation platform.

Working with modern technologies including Java/Spring, GCP, Kubernetes, and Big Data frameworks, you ll contribute to platform stability, develop new features, and guide junior engineers. This role offers hands-on experience with ML infrastructure while operating with autonomy and applying industry best practices to solve real-world AI challenges.

• Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
• Advises immediate management on project-level issues
• Guides junior engineers
• Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
• Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
