* Job Duties:

*** Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs for multinational computational software company.
* Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
* Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
* Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
* Prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status.
* Maintain Configuration Management Operations infrastructure tools for product build and release.
* Understand branching methodology and perform branching responsibilities for various products in the BU.
* Manage the buildtime/runtime dependencies to consume, provide externally, or port to new platform.
* Develop a working knowledge of Electric Commander by Cloud Bees to support continuous integrations.
* Participate in cross-functional release team meetings.
* Provide oral communication and written responses to address issues or provide status.
* Understand product release life cycle and release milestones as it pertains to R&D Operations.
* Some telecommuting permitted.

* Qualifications:

*** Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
* Utilizing source code control methodologies to manage code changes and protect company intellectual property (IP)
* Creating and managing multiple branches of release stream to support software delivery and releases
* Developing and managing build and test procedures and scripts for configuration management
* Utilizing PERL programming language and implementing changes using coding standards for CM tools
* Compiling on operating systems and using Make systems to align with software compilation and runtime requirements
* Utilizing scripting languages like Shell scripting to support internal configuration management tools
* Web language and formats to support existing tools and systems

The annual salary range for California is $187,741 to $213,200. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
