The team works on risk detection, fairness and sustainability of the E-Commerce ecosystem, and content and commodity quality to drive improvement.

Global e-commerce is a content e-commerce business with international short video products as the carrier. It is committed to becoming the first choice for users to discover and purchase good products at affordable prices. The Global e-commerce business team aims to provide users with more tailored and efficient consumption experiences and to enable merchants to receive reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live e-commerce and short video content e-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and improve lives.

• Lead the full-stack development of Tik Tok s U.S. Governance Solutions, delivering advanced technical capabilities to improve overall business efficiency.
• Design and build full-stack business platforms and user-facing features across web and mobile, including governance MCP services and AI-driven solutions for both internal and external users.
• Develop and optimize systems related to creator governance, e-commerce ecosystem integrity, content moderation, and copyright protection.
• Continuously enhance user experience by implementing quantitative service monitoring, automated alerts, and data-driven operational dashboards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience using mainstream JavaScript frameworks (such as React
  
  JS, VueJS).
• Excellent web technology skills, particularly with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript.
• Strong experience in architecting and implementing modern consumer-facing web applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in API development using backend languages (such as Golang, Python).
• Experience with large-scale data applications is a plus.
• Enthusiastic about quality, design, and user experience.
• Great to have large-scale website architecture experience.

For Pay Transparency Compensation Description (Annually).

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $187,040 - $359,720 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package; this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary by employment type and location.
