QA Engineer
LocationSan Jose, CA – Onsite
Position TypeW2 Contract
OverviewFunctionality, performance, and stability of our in-house tool suite. You will work closely with software engineers and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify potential issues, and drive quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements- Python 3.1x
- Testing on Python
- Pytest testing framework
- Parameterized tests
- Mocking
- CI/CD pipeline
- C/C++ (Priority
1) - Python (Priority
1) - CI/CD Pipeline (Priority
1) - 5+ years of experience
- Working knowledge of software design patterns
- Working knowledge of Python unittest testing framework
- Understanding of code coverage metrics and how to determine testing quality
- Working knowledge of Pytest testing framework
- Parameterized tests
- Tests that throw exceptions
- Mocking
- Inter-test dependencies and ordering
- Working knowledge of Sapling / Mercurial / GIT
- Working knowledge of VSCode
