Lead C++ Software Engineer – FPGA Based Prototyping

Annual Bonus and RSUs

• Design and implement high-performance algorithms in C/C++ for FPGA-based synthesis and technology mapping
• Drive QoR and performance improvements across the Protium Compiler and automation flows
• Build and evolve EDA automation pipelines that support large-scale FPGA prototyping
• Collaborate closely with architects and fellow engineers to turn ideas into production-ready software
• Write clear design specifications, unit tests, and well-structured, maintainable code

Education & Experience

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or
• MS with 2+ years, or
• PhD with a thesis in a related area

Core Skills

• Strong, modern C/C++ programming skills and deep object-oriented design experience
• Hands‑on experience with FPGA or ASIC prototyping, synthesis, or verification, with a track record of delivering excellent QoR
• Solid understanding of digital logic and circuits
• Proficiency in Verilog or System Verilog

Bonus Points

• Experience with logic simulators
• Knowledge of multi-threaded or concurrent programming
• Exposure to ML/AI techniques applied in production software

• Work on cutting-edge compiler and EDA technology used by industry leaders
