Solutions Engineer - SMB, Ads

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally, becoming an expert on Tik Tok’s Ads capabilities.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally and globally to identify and capitalize on SMB opportunities through innovative, scalable solutions and best practices.
• Understand the unique needs of small and medium‑sized businesses and influence product roadmap with internal product teams to solve business challenges.
• Build and ship new products as well as end‑to‑end solutions in collaboration with Ads product engineering teams.
• Maintain subject matter expertise on marketing technology and API trends.

• Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience shipping production‑quality code.
• Familiar with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to Python, Go, Java, C/C++.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate with various sized stakeholder groups internally and externally.
• Demonstrated knowledge of API and backend systems design.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in advertising technology working with large volume data analytics.
• Experience in growing small and medium‑sized businesses.
• Solutions‑oriented with strong problem‑solving and development experience.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $136,800–$259,200 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location.
