Senior Software Development Engineer – Data

Responsibilities

• Design and build data transformations efficiently and reliably for different purposes (e.g. reporting, growth analysis, multi‑dimensional analysis).
• Design and implement reliable, scalable, robust and extensible big data systems that support core products and business.
• Establish solid design and best engineering practice for engineers as well as non‑technical people.

Qualifications

• BS/MS from a quantitative field of study (CS, STEM, etc).
• Experience in API, backend, and data services development.
• Experience in Big Data stack (Hadoop, M/R, Hive, Spark, Metastore, Presto, Flume, Kafka, Click House, Flink, etc.).
• Experience with ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Loading) or ELT, and architecting data systems.
• Ability to ship code in Java, Python and SQL.
• Solid communication and collaboration skills.

Job Information & Compensation

Compensation Description (Annually):
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $187,040 – $359,720 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
