Theom is defining the future of cloud data security. We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff to design and build key components of our AI-driven data security platform. In this role, you will move beyond legacy maintenance to engineer high-scale, distributed systems that protect sensitive enterprise data across the world’s largest cloud environments.

You will join a high-caliber team of industry veterans (from places like Google, Amazon, Cisco) and engineers in a fast-paced environment where innovation is the standard. • Innovate with AI: Integrate GenAI and LLM technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
• Design for Scale: Architect and implement highly scalable software features for our data security platform, ensuring performance across Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, and AWS environments.
• Advanced Threat Detection: Build robust systems capable of processing vast amounts of data to identify suspicious access patterns and potential breaches in real-time.
• Data Governance: Develop sophisticated solutions for data classification, discovery, and granular access control without moving customer data.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong development and debugging skills in modern languages such as Golang, Python, Java, C++, etc.
• Modern Development Practices: Experience using or a strong interest in adopting AI‑assisted workflows to accelerate coding, debugging, and documentation workflows.
• Core Fundamentals: Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design patterns.
• Cloud Fluency: Familiarity with cloud‑native architectures and modern data platforms.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Ownership & Drive: Highly motivated and capable of owning and developing features end-to-end, from design through deployment.

• Generative AI Development: Experience building applications using OpenAI APIs, Lang Chain, or vector databases.
• Scale: Experience solving data engineering problems at a production scale with high throughput.
• Infrastructure: Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and distributed computing technologies.
