• Provide reliable support for the San Jose Firmware System Integration Test (SIT) lab, including setup of test equipment and optical components.
• Conduct manual testing for project use cases and investigate customer‑related issues in the lab.
• Enhance existing Python scripts and design new test cases to meet project requirements.
• Automate testing processes on the PACE test platform using Python.
• Analyze test reports to allocate firmware bug responsibilities effectively.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline testing workflows and improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies relevant to optical firmware testing.
• Document test procedures and results for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

• Must‑Have:
  Proficient in Python programming.
• Experience with optical communication concepts.
• Hands‑on experience in a lab environment for hardware and software testing.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Nice‑to‑Have:
  Familiarity with optics testing methodologies.
• Experience in test report analysis for firmware bug allocation.
• Knowledge of network node setups and configurations.
• Ability to design and implement automated test cases.
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
