Activity Coordinator, Memory Care – Ivy Park at San Jose
Shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 (depending on experience)

The Activity Coordinator assists with organizing, scheduling, promoting, facilitating, and directing activities and excursions for Traditions Memory Care residents to enhance their independence and quality of life, in alignment with the company’s mission and values.
Responsibilities- Assist the Memory Care Director in providing an interesting, creative, and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the secured Traditions area.
- Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled high‑quality activities, excursions, special events, guest speakers, movie showings, exercise sessions, clubs, games, art and creativity opportunities, educational classes, and other such activities.
- Communicate effectively and display tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, families, visitors, co‑workers, and supervisors.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
- Be able to drive community vehicles.
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co‑workers and other departments.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
- Requires current Class C driver license; a Class B license is preferred to transport residents.
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).
- May be required to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of COVID‑19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
