Pay rate: $32.43/hour on w2 without benefits

Shift hours: Monday through Friday regular shift
Job Description- Perform skilled and semi-skilled construction, maintenance, and repair work on flood protection and raw water distribution facilities.
- Conduct concrete work, earthwork, sediment removal, bank repair, and fence and structure repairs.
- Maintain dams, waterways, roads, canals, ponds, pipelines, and other related facilities and properties.
- Remove trash, debris, graffiti, and hazardous materials in accordance with established safety and disposal guidelines.
- Perform vegetation management, including brush clearing, tree removal, invasive species control, and native plant revegetation projects.
- Operate and perform minor maintenance on hand tools, power tools, and light equipment.
- Assist with mechanical, electrical, carpentry, welding, painting, and facility maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Set up and perform traffic control; install warning devices and barricades; ensure job site safety and compliance with regulations.
- Inspect work sites for potential hazards and follow established safety procedures.
- Maintain electronic records and documentation of work performed.
- Respond to public inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform related duties as assigned; management reserves the right to modify work assignments based on operational needs.
- Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
- Four (4) years of construction or field maintenance experience.
- Four (4) years of experience in a regulated integrated vegetation management program performing vegetation control of invasive species and revegetation of native species.
- Must have a satisfactory driving record and a valid California Class B driver's license with tanker and air brake endorsements at the time of hire.
- Possession of or ability to obtain, a Qualified Applicator's Certificate or Qualified Applicator License in Categories C and F issued by the State of California's Department of Pesticide Regulation.
