Job Description

The Level I installer is a general labor position that reports directly to the Crew Leader and Regional Install Manager. They will perform general duties and responsibilities on-site and during the installation process while maintaining a safe and clean environment. The Installer must possess excellent time-management skills and be able to take direction comfortably. They must also have a basic knowledge of the installation procedure and any equipment that is necessary for each project.

All Installers (Levels I and II) must have excellent team-building skills and be able work well with others. Each installation procedure develops most efficiently when all crew members work in tandem and are responsible for their respective duties.

Basic Duties

• Move any and all equipment and materials throughout work area
• Assist with operating equipment and performing maintenance
• Maintain a safe and clean environment and use proper safety practices
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by crew leader or management
• Drive vehicles as needed
• Ensure all company property including tools and materials are always secure
• Ensure vehicle and or trailer are always clean and orderly
• Assist in restocking and prepping vehicle for next workday
• Communicate any issues to crew leader
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

• Follow all company policies and procedures as well as all local, state/provincial and federal laws
• Follow all company safety procedures
• The company does not tolerate sexual or other unlawful discriminatory actions, gestures, harassment or statements
• Any of these behaviors are subject to personnel action up to and including immediate termination and are to be reported to management immediately
• Maintain confidentiality of company records and information at all times

• Ensuring that customers are completely satisfied with their experience
• Answering the phone and responding to inquiries
• Ensuring all equipment is in working order and reporting issues to management
• Providing basic assistance and minor first aid (e.g., if a customer or coworker asks for a bandage)
• Ensuring that the facility is clean at all times
