Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician – San Jose, CA

AMAROK is a leader in advanced perimeter security solutions and is looking for a Field Service Technician to provide preventive maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades across our nationwide service network. The role requires Monday–Friday overnight travel within a 150–250 mile radius and offers an approximate year‑end pay range of $70,000 – $90,000 per year.

• Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades at customer sites following established SOPs.
• Assist the Install Department with site planning, jurisdictional compliance, inspections, and system commissioning after construction.
• Organize and prioritize daily service calls and routes to ensure timely, high‑quality completion of work.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers through outstanding service, training, and support.
• Assist other Field Service Technicians as needed, fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.
• Drive safely and efficiently, following all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
• Monitor inventory levels, complete service reports, and submit documentation within required deadlines.
• Track and submit expense reports in compliance with company policies.

• Available to travel Monday–Friday weekly within a 150–250 mile radius.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• At least 2 + years of hands‑on experience troubleshooting and installing systems (access control or fire alarms is a plus).
• OSHA certification and/or familiarity with OSHA compliance highly preferred.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects and climb a ladder up to 30 ft.
• Experience operating power equipment such as aerial lifts, concrete saws, jack hammers, augers, mixers, etc.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic math skills for measuring, calculating, and troubleshooting system configurations.
