This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in San Jose, CA, for a GPR Field Technician. The main responsibilities include operating ground‑penetrating radar equipment to accurately locate underground utilities, performing field inspections, and collecting and interpreting data. The technician will be expected to ensure safety protocols are followed, collaborate with team members, prepare reports, and maintain equipment in proper working condition.

Effective communication and attention to detail are critical in this role to deliver accurate results and uphold company standards.

• Experience with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) systems and utility locating equipment
• Understanding of utility mapping, Trimble GPS mapping, and data collection
• Basic knowledge of pipe video inspections and leak detection methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to interpret GPR and mapping data
• Attention to detail and ability to prepare thorough and accurate reports
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients
• Ability to work on‑site in various field conditions and adhere to safety standards
• Prior experience in a related technical or field technician role is an asset
