ShiftPart Time – Saturday – Sunday
Requirements- Active CA Guard Card
- Valid State Driver’s License (minimum one year)
- Minimum one year of security experience
- Intermediate to advanced technology skills
- Level 1 Certificate (Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force Certificate)
- Prohibited:
Use of personal electronic devices while on duty
- Make emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders
- Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding performance of their duties
- Cross‑train officers to increase versatility and site efficiency
- Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
- Recommend physical security surveys and post orders
- Recommend personnel actions for those under direct supervision
- Oversee staffing, scheduling and on‑site training for security officers assigned to his/her shift
- Ensure contract required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met
- Maintain overtime within minimum or predefined level
- Inspect security personnel and their job performance regularly for quality of service and contract compliance
- Perform payroll review, incident report maintenance, security survey and post order preparation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum two years of verifiable security work experience demonstrating customer service, poise during emergencies, and written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Planning, organizing and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- Coaching, mentoring, motivating skills
- Active listening and teamwork skills
- Detail oriented
- Experience in Emergency Management Systems (FEMA Incident Command Certification, ICO 100/200/300)
- Working knowledge of EMS protocols or Medical First Responder / EMT
