$24.00 / Hour

Part Time – Saturday – Sunday

• Active CA Guard Card
• Valid State Driver’s License (minimum one year)
• Minimum one year of security experience
• Intermediate to advanced technology skills
• Level 1 Certificate (Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force Certificate)
• Prohibited:
  Use of personal electronic devices while on duty

• Make emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding performance of their duties
• Cross‑train officers to increase versatility and site efficiency
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
• Recommend physical security surveys and post orders
• Recommend personnel actions for those under direct supervision
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and on‑site training for security officers assigned to his/her shift
• Ensure contract required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met
• Maintain overtime within minimum or predefined level
• Inspect security personnel and their job performance regularly for quality of service and contract compliance
• Perform payroll review, incident report maintenance, security survey and post order preparation

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum two years of verifiable security work experience demonstrating customer service, poise during emergencies, and written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Planning, organizing and problem solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
• Coaching, mentoring, motivating skills
• Active listening and teamwork skills
• Detail oriented

• Experience in Emergency Management Systems (FEMA Incident Command Certification, ICO 100/200/300)
• Working knowledge of EMS protocols or Medical First Responder / EMT
