The JobTrades Specialist – Northern CA. You will be part of our Commercial Construction field sales team as a virtual employee in your assigned territory of Northern CA. You’ll:
- Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and local market goals by selling DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTER CABLE brands to our end-user customer base.
- Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end-user partners through solution selling and management of CORE and other SBD user contracts and programs.
- Teach and mentor the local market team on End User development, including who to contact and how they execute the purchasing process, aligning efforts with local market teams, product managers, distributors, and service centers.
- Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and use as a CRM and planning tool; communicate successes and failures to develop a streamlined process for future success with key accounts and opportunities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields preferred. Relevant construction field experience may substitute for higher education.
- 3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a track record delivering results and experience selling to high-level executives, C-Suite, and jobsite directors preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to balance empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to travel up to 50% within territory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Base pay range in California: $75,000–$90,000 per year. Pay varies by location and experience. A sign-on payment may be offered. Apply via Stanley Black & Decker’s careers site.
