Overview
Job Title: Sales Agent trainee/Sales Assistant.
Reports to: Office Manager and Regional Manager. Bail Insurance business (in business over 20 years with 36 locations in California).
Sales Agent trainee/Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the bail bonds company. Must have prior sales experience. This position involves handling administrative tasks, maintaining records, assisting clients, and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Needs a strong interest and aptitude for sales.

Vary depending on the office. Nights and weekends are required. Typically a schedule will include one weekend day. This office has this rotating schedule:
One week working the opening shift, 8 am to 4 p.m., and one week working the closing shift, 4 p.m. to midnight.

- Greet clients, answer phone calls, and provide general information about bail bond services.
- Make sure the office is neat and office runs efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of client information, payments, and contracts.
- Input details and information into our customized database.
- Weekly production reports sent to Corporate in a timely manner.
- Keeps control of bond inventory. (voids and making sure powers of attorney do not go missing)
- Ensure payments from clients are placed in Loomis Machine or alternate safe.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Other duties assigned.
- Must be able to obtain CA Bail License. Will be asked to take a three day course and test within 1-2 months of start date. Licensing can take from 3-6 months. After which, the role will include more communication with customers about their cases.
- If chosen, will be sent to Southern California for a one week training the first week for 30 hours of training, all expenses paid.
- Bilingual in Spanish nice but not necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills. Ideal experience would be having sold cell phones or other
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of related experience required.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
- Fast-paced environment requiring professionalism and discretion.
Ideal candidate is growth opportunity mindset. There is a growth path into bail posting agent or bail sales agent positions. Bail sales agent responds to incoming inquiries and receives commissions for calls that convert to sales in addition to base hourly rate. Posting agent takes paperwork to the courts to process releases.
