What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop new accounts and expand existing relationships for all products in the employer's embedded product portfolio
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to create effective sales strategies targeting key customers
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with strategic customers to drive sustained sales
  • Communicate the features and benefits of products to prospective customers, focusing on value and differentiation
  • Maintain a detailed CRM database to support data-driven decision-making within the executive team
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or significant experience in technical sales
  • 8-10 years of experience in technical sales and/or business development, particularly in complex components
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling high-value embedded solutions in aerospace and defense
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Technical knowledge of embedded computing markets and related technologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with COTS technologies and typical military applications
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team within a matrixed organization
  • Action-oriented self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
