Team Member – Loop Neighborhood Market

Loop Neighborhood Market is based in Union City, California, with stores and stations across the state. Founded in 1978, the company develops real estate and owns and operates gas stations with convenience stores and car washes. It also has a wholesale division that delivers fuel to dealer locations.

We are looking for hardworking, dedicated, customer-focused individuals (including entry level) who enjoy interacting with customers and helping make a difference. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available for three shifts (first, second, or third), offering flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle.

• Managing the cash register, keeping the till balanced and providing fast, accurate service.
• Stocking products on shelves and maintaining a clean, professional store appearance.
• Providing prompt, efficient, courteous customer service to store customers, vendors, and staff.
• Maintaining a clean, customer-friendly environment in the store and surrounding property.
• Troubleshooting and resolving car wash-related issues as needed.
• Preparing shift reports at the end of each shift following company guidelines.
• Upselling products to assist in increasing sales.
• Escalating high-priority issues to the immediate manager.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

• Flexible schedule availability.
• Verbal and written communication with management.
• Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking.
• Basic math skills, especially cash change calculations.
• Ability to validate  tobacco/alcohol sales.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds.
• Can climb ladders when necessary.
• Stay calm and respond to emergencies per policy.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Adapt to various temperature environments (coolers, outdoor, station).

• 6–3 years of service: 0.10 cents off a gallon of fuel.
• 3–5 years of service: 0.30 cents off a gallon of fuel.
• 5+ years of service: 0.40 cents off a gallon of fuel.
• Maximum 20 gallons and 2 fill-ups per week.

• Must be 18+ to work first and second shift.
• Minimum 21 years old to work third shift.
