Food Server​/Runner

Kovai Restaurants LLC is a dynamic and fast-growing restaurant group dedicated to bringing the authentic and diverse flavors of South Indian cuisine to the United States. We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Food Servers/Runners to join our front-of-house team and provide exceptional service to our valued guests.

As a Food Server/Runner at Kovai Restaurants LLC, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for delivering orders from the kitchen to the guests' tables, ensuring that each dish is presented correctly and promptly. Your friendly demeanor and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

• Guest Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering menu inquiries in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Order Delivery: Efficiently deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Table Setup: Set up dining tables with utensils, napkins, and condiments before guests are seated.
• Assist Servers: Assist food servers in various tasks, such as refilling drinks, clearing tables, and ensuring a clean and organized dining area.
• Menu Knowledge: Maintain a good understanding of the menu items, specials, and promotions to assist guests with their selections.
• Guest Requests: Attend to guest requests and special instructions promptly and courteously.
• Payment Processing: Assist with processing payments and issuing receipts to guests as needed.
• Cleanliness: Help maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area, including cleaning and resetting tables.

• Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and customer-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
