Chef de Cuisine
Life Works is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to take the helm of culinary operations at one of our premier locations. As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be the lead culinary professional, responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations. From menu development to team leadership, you’ll ensure every dish reflects the sophistication and quality our clients expect.
Life Works Restaurant Group, an independently operated division of Aramark, designs custom solutions for clients looking to elevate their amenities. Our team delivers truly sensory experiences, feeding company culture and establishing transparency with partners from design to marketing of the final branded product.
CompensationThe hourly rate or salary range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000
. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities- Trains and leads kitchen personnel
- Supervises/coordinates all related culinary activities
- Estimates food consumption and requisition or purchase food
- Selects and develops recipes and standardizes production recipes to ensure consistent quality
- Establishes presentation technique and quality standards, and plans and prices menus
- Ensures proper equipment operation/maintenance and safety and sanitation in the kitchen
- Oversees special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrate culinary techniques
- Requires at least 2-3 years in a related position
- Requires at least 2-3 years of post‑high school education, preferably a culinary degree
- Requires advanced knowledge of food‑profession principles and practices
- Requires experiential knowledge of people and/or problem management
- Requires strong verbal, reading, and written communication skills
