As a Research Recruiter

• As a research recruiter, you will work closely with UX researchers and cross-functional partners to support the planning and execution of high-quality research across marketplace.
• You will manage end-to-end participant recruitment and scheduling, partnering with researchers to understand study goals, screen criteria, and timelines while ensuring sessions run smoothly and on time.
• Your work will span qualitative and quantitative research methods, including 1-on-1 interviews, surveys, unmoderated testing, and diary studies, coordinating logistics, compliance requirements, and participant communications throughout the research lifecycle.
• You will support operational initiatives to improve efficiency, collaborate with quant partners on data pulls and studies, process participant incentives, and provide backup support for session monitoring or technical troubleshooting.
• By building strong relationships with researchers and operations stakeholders, you will help ensure a seamless research experience that enables teams to generate meaningful insights from diverse buyers and sellers around the world.

Job Description:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented research recruiter to join our UX research operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating participant recruitment and scheduling for our research sessions, ensuring they run smoothly and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with researchers to understand project needs, screening criteria, and timelines.
• Manage end-to-end participant recruitment: create screeners, send invitations, track responses, and confirm participants for research sessions with buyers and sellers.
• Coordinate scheduling logistics and ensure all compliance requirements (NDAs, consent forms) are completed before sessions.
• Maintain efficient and timely communication with participants and researchers throughout the research process, including reminders and follow-ups.
• Process participant incentives in accordance with established guidelines.
• Collaborate with the quant team on data pulls and quantitative studies.
• Serve as backup support for session monitoring or tech troubleshooting as needed.
• Support operations initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• 2 4 years of experience in research recruiting, participant coordination, or research operations.
• Experience working with different research methodologies including 1-on-1 interviews, quantitative surveys, unmoderated testing, and diary studies.
• Experience working with a broad range of customers, from the general public to C-level executives.
• Experience with Slack, Qualtrics, Airtable, Userlytics, or User Interviews.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent studies.
• Clear written communication skills for participant-facing correspondence.
• Comfort working with compliance and legal requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience or interest in international recruiting.
• End-to-end qualitative or quantitative research experience (project planning, recruiting, writing surveys, interviewing, and reporting).
• Junior researchers looking for more experience are encouraged to apply.
