Summary / Primary FunctionsThe Quality Control Examiner develops, implements, and ensures the integrity of the quality management system, including Therma Quality Policy Statement, QC Standard Operating Procedures, and ASME QC Manual functions. The QCE works closely with management and employees to provide the highest quality working environment, develop a culture committed to highest quality workmanship, and assure compliance with corporate procedures.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Implementation and continuous improvement of QC procedures, programs, policies, and cultures.
- Provide a workplace culture committed to highest quality and customer complaint‑free performance.
- Perform welder training and witness certification testing of shop and field welding personnel.
- Investigate all external and internal Customer Complaints and non‑conformances related to quality workmanship issues to determine root causes and preventative measures. Assist QCM with Corrective Action Plan implementation and verification of completion of Customer Complaints or Non‑Conformances.
- Inspect production welding and assemblies on a routine basis to identify and correct potential workmanship issues and ensure Code regulation compliance.
- American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
- Committed to the company’s core values, leading by example, and exemplifying these values within written and verbal communications, conduct, and actions.
- Effective communicator (oral and written) with the ability to operate effectively without supervision. Engaging training and presentation skills.
- Minimum of 5 years construction experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in a position with welding quality or welding responsibilities.
- Current valid CA driver’s license.
- Experience with ASME Biopharmaceutical Equipment documentation and Quality Control requirements.
- Experience with SEMI standard for high‑purity installation for the semiconductor industry.
$45–$50, depending on experience.
