• Perform visual and dimensional/mechanical inspection of raw materials, machined parts, optics, chassis, assemblies, packaging materials, or finished products according to established acceptance criteria defined in material specifications, engineering drawings, or work instructions.
• Assess dimensional accuracy of machined parts using appropriate inspection methods and measuring tools.
• Conduct thorough documentation review to ensure records are complete and compliant with Good Documentation Practices.
• Record inspection results on applicable forms or electronically in SAP.
• Communicate issues verbally and in writing to responsible engineers; document discrepancies per the Quality Notification Reporting procedure.
• Ensure quality records are complete when saving/uploading to SAP; follow SOPs.
• Prioritize and coordinate daily workload to ensure timely completion.
• Support and contribute to department and business goals; interact with engineers, purchasing, suppliers, planners, and manufacturing associates.
• Adhere to the company's Quality System requirements and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory/compliance requirements; participate in training as needed and raise questions/issues to management.
• Follow Environmental, Health and Safety policies; take responsibility for safety in the work area.

• Experience performing incoming inspection and First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Strong mathematics skills; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of Good Documentation Practices.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking abilities; good problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Windows, SAP, Minitab, and basic computer literacy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team-oriented.
• Experience working in GMP, FDA, or ISO 9000 environments.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years minimum in incoming inspection, First Article Inspection, or dimensional inspection of machined parts.
• 1-year minimum experience in GMP, FDA, or ISO 9000 environment.
