Our Clinical Lab Scientists (level II) perform clinical testing in one or more of the following areas: blood bank, chemistry, serology, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, special chemistry, microbiology and manual tests. You will perform automated, semi-automated and manual procedures in the fields of bacteriology, parasitology, hematology, coagulation, serology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, and immunohematology. According to established procedures and policies.

You will perform preventative maintenance on laboratory instrumentation, interpret results as to their accuracy, acceptability and critical limits and organize work to meet established deadlines and record all data obtained.

You will work actively and be cooperative with nursing and other hospital staff to ensure timely patient care as well as assist with regulatory compliance.

You will be responsible for training lab personnel and are expected to perform in-charge assignment in the absence of a manager.

• Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license per CA State Board required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent from an accredited college or university required
• Minimum five years experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist required
