Overview

Required:

At least one year of professional dog grooming experience and a valid driver’s license. We are currently hiring for the following Bay Area teams:
Berkeley, San Francisco, San Jose, Solano County.

• We believe in quality over quantity, offering manageable schedules of just 3-6 dogs per day, so every pup gets the time and attention they deserve.

As a Barkbus Pet Stylist, you'll use your skill and love for dogs to create a stress-free grooming experience
, all supported by a positive, groomer-first culture.

• Provide luxury 1-on-1 care to pups while bathing, cutting, shaving and trimming.
• Work independently in our Hanvey grooming vans.
• Receive scheduling support so each appointment fits your pace.
• Get assistance from our concierge and fleet teams with van maintenance and logistics.
• Enjoy manageable daily schedules while prioritizing safety and quality.
• Choose from three shift types for consistent days each month.

• 1+ years of professional grooming experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortable interacting with customers/pet parents
• Comfortable using smart phones (we provide the phone!)
• Ability to safely lift and handle dogs up to 50 lbs independently
• Ability to safely guide or maneuver dogs up to 100 lbs with the use of van equipment (lift, table, etc.)

• $28 - $38/hour (base pay + tips)
• Monthly bonuses: $400 - $800
• Weekly payroll; bonuses paid twice monthly
