Veterinary Customer Service Representative

Overview

San Jose Animal Hospital has been serving Santa Clara County for over 40 years. We are looking to hire an animal loving, self-motivated Veterinary Client Service Representative (VCSR).

Shifts needed:
Monday–Thursday.

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine.

The Veterinary Client Service Representative plays a key role in the hospital s success. While this position does not have any clinical duties, the VCSR will work together with Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and the Practice Manager. The VCSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for customer service functions.

• Check clients in and out
• Answer phones professionally
• Accurately schedule appointments
• Maintain high standard of patient and client care
• Process payments

• Superior customer service
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine
• Friendly and outgoing
• Highly organized and attentive to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate from $19-23/hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
