Job Title:
Registered Nurse - Critical Need :
Travel
Unit: ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
Location:
San Jose, CA 95119
Duration: 3 + Months (Possible Extension)
Local pay rate: $78/hr. on W2
Shift Options: 12 hr. Days
Blended Travel Package: $3500 (36 hours)
Position Overview:
The ICU RN will provide high-acuity patient care in a critical care setting, ensuring safe and effective treatment for patients with life-threatening conditions. The role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and the ability to respond to emergencies with precision and composure.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and responses to treatment
- Administer medications and manage complex medical equipment (ventilators, drips, etc.)
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Educate patients and families on condition, treatment plans, and recovery processes
Requirements:
- Active RN license for California – Required
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA) – Required
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience – Required
