Patient Navigator Program (San Diego Area) — California Lupus Foundation
Empowering the Lupus Community Across California. Our Mission:
California Lupus Foundation improves the lives of those affected by lupus by providing support, advocacy and education. We serve diverse communities, raising awareness and advocating for a cure to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families.
The California Lupus Foundation was formed through the merger of the Lupus Foundation of Northern California and the Lupus Foundation of Southern California. Together, we offer a broad and impactful array of services.

At the California Lupus Foundation, we are building a stronger, more inclusive community for lupus patients and their families. With your partnership—as a team member, donor, board leader, or volunteer—we can expand our reach, deepen our impact, and bring hope to those affected by this complex disease. Together, we will create a California where everyone living with lupus has the support, education, and care they need.
The California Lupus Foundation is hosting its 11th Annual Purple Ribbon Awards Gala on March 21, 2026. This event is our largest fundraiser of the year and allows us to continue offering free patient education and support programs to lupus patients throughout California.
Do you have an outgoing personality? Do you feel comfortable going into businesses and asking for donations? If so, we can use your help! We are looking for someone who can go out in the Northern California Bay Area and request donations for our Live and Silent Auctions. We will give you a script and donation forms and any in office support needed.
If you have a connection to a lupus patient that would be even better but is not required.
