About West Valley Community ServicesWest Valley Community Services, Inc. is a non‑profit, community‑based agency that has been providing direct assistance and referral services to the west valley communities of Santa Clara County for over 45 years. Founded in 1973, the organization offers a continuum of basic needs, including an in‑house and mobile food pantry, homeless support, affordable housing, emergency financial assistance, family support, referrals, education, and case management.
They serve homeless and low‑income individuals and families in Cupertino, Saratoga, West San Jose, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, and surrounding mountain regions.
Senior Transportation Driver
Job DescriptionRYDE is a senior transportation program helping adults who are 65 years and older. This is an opportunity to meet and make a difference in someone's life. You will be driving participating senior adults to grocery stores, medical appointments, and other local destinations within Santa Clara County. You will help members of your community reach their desired destinations and prevent someone from being homebound.
The program operates Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. The service covers the following San José zip codes: 95110, 95112, 95116, 95118, 95119, 95122, 95123, 95129, 95130, and 95139.
