About the Organization
We provide programs and support services for patients, families, caregivers, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. Outside the federal government, the Alzheimer’s Association is the largest research funder in the country and offers advocacy opportunities to make public policy change.

OpportunityHelp End Alzheimer’s invites you to serve as Lead Recruitment & Outreach for the “Do What You Love to End ALZ” campaign. This is more than a volunteer role—it’s a chance to lead grassroots growth, recruiting new fundraisers and expanding our reach into vibrant communities such as pickleball, fitness, arts, and beyond.
Responsibilities- Open your network to recruit new fundraising participants
- Connect with local businesses, clubs, and influencers (e.g., pickleball players, paddle manufacturers)
- Tabl… at events, give presentations, and attend networking functions
- Host recruitment events targeted to specific communities or interest groups
- Inspire others to take action and support the Alzheimer’s Association mission
- Experience in sales, marketing, or community outreach
- Strong public speaking and networking skills
- Event planning or grassroots organizing experience
