As a Reagent Manufacturing Associate, you will support the production of high-quality reagents used in Complete Genomics’ next-generation sequencing platforms. This role spans entry-level through early-career professionals, with responsibilities and autonomy aligned to experience, training, and demonstrated performance.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Execute reagent manufacturing operations by following established SOPs to ensure accuracy, consistency, throughput, and product quality.
• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment including reagent preparation and liquid handling instrumentation, escalating issues or deviations as appropriate.
• Apply scientific principles in biochemistry, biology, and chemistry to support routine manufacturing activities and resolve common process challenges.
• Support operational excellence initiatives by participating in standard work, 5S, and continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing environment.
• Perform general laboratory operations such as inventory management, supply restocking, and maintenance of clean and organized work areas.
• Document manufacturing activities accurately using LIMS and other manufacturing systems in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, formulation, and support teams to meet production goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure regulatory and safety compliance by adhering to ISO, cGMP, and laboratory safety standards at all times.
• Maintain an audit-ready work environment through proper documentation, labeling, and adherence to established procedures.

• Travel: Minimal; occasional travel may be required for training or internal meetings

WHAT YOU WILL BRING US

• 1 to 3+ years of hands-on experience in scientific or manufacturing environments within biotechnology, molecular biology, or other regulated laboratory settings.
• Familiarity with quality and regulatory standards such as ISO and/or cGMP, with the ability to work effectively in compliance-driven environments.
• Experience operating laboratory or manufacturing equipment including reagent preparation tools and liquid handling systems.
• Strong documentation and data integrity practices with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working within SOP-driven workflows and utilizing manufacturing systems such as LIMS or similar electronic documentation tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams including manufacturing, formulation, and operational support functions.
• Proficiency with standard productivity tools including Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems.

WHAT YOUR EDUCATION LOOKS LIKE

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
• Prior exposure to Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies is highly desirable.
