As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for preserving the condition, functionality, and safety of the facilities premises, equipment, and systems. Your core responsibilities will include preforming routine inspections, troubleshooting and repairing electrical, electronic and mechanical issues, conducting quality assessments and repairs.
They have a lot of old equipment but it is a fast-paced environment, so they need someone who can think on their feet and use hand and power tools to make sure the machinery and equipment stays up and running. Most of the maintenance will be working on machine electrical/electronic control systems - Think - why is the sensor not working, what do I need to do to fix it?

- Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, diagnostics, electrical systems, polishing machinery
- Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instruments and equipment
- Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventory
- Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations
- Keep and maintain logbooks/checklists up to date
- Ability to use safe and proper judgment with minimal supervision
- Ensuring all PM programs run well and are kept up to date
- Follow all Safety, Health and Environmental procedures and policies
- Other job duties may be assigned
AA degree in electronics or equivalent (preferred)
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair of silicon wafer reclaim equipment and facilities support system (preferred NOT A REQUIREMENT)
- Basic understanding of electrical, electronic sensors, mechanical, and other systems
- Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliance, pressure gauges, volt meters, and other devices
- Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Physically capable of lifting to 50 pounds
- Experience reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
- Climb ladders (up to 25’)
- Must be able to wear safety glasses
- Must be able to wear cleanroom suit for extended periods of time
- Capacity to work in an environment with moderate noise level
- Ability to occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, in wet and/or humid weather conditions, if required
