Responsibilities
- Responsible for hand soldering of fine-pitch, QFN, and small size surface mount and thru-hole components, using a microscope when required
- Soldering of wiring and connectors for probing of PCBs
- Assisting Engineers as required to help build and experiment on Prototype HW
- Proven experience in fine pitch SMT and thru-hole soldering
- Proficiency in rework stations, soldering iron, hot-air machines, and microscope
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation such as BOMs, PCB schematics, and layout drawings
- Understanding of electronic component types and packaging (i.e.,
BGA, DFN/QFN,
SOICs packages
, etc.) - General computer skills
