Job PurposePerforms product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs.
Responsibilities- Perform product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs.
- Perform packaging line and manufacturing inspections, sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials.
- Ensure raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards.
- Apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated.
- Assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations.
- Minimize down time by reducing production rework and recalls.
- Experience with high volume PCBA manufacturing environment.
- Familiar with IPC 610.
- Able to identify component value.
- Able to read ECO.
- Follow manufacturing process instructions (MPIs).
- Operate Automatic Optical Inspection machine.
- Available for overtime and weekend work as required, minimum 40 hr/wk.
- Read English and communicate well with others.
- Assemble products or sub-assemblies according to written instructions or drawings.
- Minimum 2 years experience as inspector.
