They partner closely with the executive team and People & Culture to strengthen organizational effectiveness, build ‑hightrust‑ routines, and deliver outcomes with urgency.

What You’ll Deliver in the First 12 Months

  • A crisp operating cadence: Quarterly/Monthly Business Reviews (Q /M ), Staff meetings, decision logs, Board of Directors meeting preparation, and pre-read‑ standards that lift executive throughput and reduce decision cycle time.
  • Strategy → execution: Annual planning and OKRs translated into funded initiatives with clear owners, interlocks, and risks; portfolio dashboards visible to ELT.
  • Program results: Successful delivery of 3–5 cross functional initiatives (e.g., operations org redesign, cost reductions, long term manufacturing plans and associated customer communication, quality and execution improvements) with measurable business impact.
  • Data & insights: Company KPI taxonomy; automated executive dashboards; variance and scenario analyses that guide priority calls.
  • Org effectiveness: Leadership rituals, communications, and feedback mechanisms that raise accountability and engagement; close partnership with People & Culture.

What you’ll do

Strategy & Planning

  • Facilitate annual and quarterly strategic planning; translate goals into OKRs, initiatives, and budgets with Finance and functional leaders.
  • Maintain an enterprise portfolio view—dependencies, milestones, risks, and capacity—so the ELT can reallocate fast.

Operating Rhythm & Governance

  • Design and run the executive operating cadence (Q /M /Staff/All Hands), including agendas, pre‑reads, decision logs, and follow‑through.
  • Drive issue escalation paths and unblock cross-functional decisions; track and publish commitments.

Program & Portfolio Management

  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs (e.g., operations quality, manufacturing scale-up, process excellence, cost reductions); stand up lightweight PMO/Business operation routines as needed.
  • Establish playbooks for scope, milestones, RACI, risks, and benefit realization.

Decision Intelligence & Analytics

  • Build KPI taxonomy and executive dashboards; deliver ad-hoc analyses (financial, operational, customer) that inform trade-offs.
  • Partner with Data/Finance to improve data quality, definitions, and cadence.

Executive Communications

  • Craft executive narratives (strategy updates, board materials, town halls) and ensure message consistency across functions.
  • Prepare the executive for key external/internal engagements with briefs and talking points.

Org Effectiveness & Culture

  • Partner with People & Culture to embed leadership routines, accountability frameworks, and manager development; reinforce a high trust, high‑performance culture.
  • Support org design and change management for strategic shifts.

Team Leadership

  • Lead a small Business Operation and/or analyst team; hire, coach, and develop talent; foster collaboration across functions.

Skills you’ll need

  • 10–15 years in Strategy/Operations leadership (e.g., management consulting plus inhouse‑ Business Operation/PMO), ideally in high growth or technology‑intensive environments.
  • Proven track record designing operating cadences and delivering cross-functional programs end‑to‑end.
  • Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, ROI), data literacy (dashboards, KPI design), and executive communication skills.
  • Experience partnering with Manufacturing/Operations and Quality functions is a plus (e.g., incoming quality control, manufacturing quality).
