Job SummaryWe are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Hyper Scale DC Program Specialist to analyze forecast from the largest Hyper Scale customer and coordinate with multiple production entities to efficiently develop/update production planning to realize timely delivery of goods to such customer. The role manages and coordinates multiple purchase orders and the related logistical aspects, communicates with customers for production plans and delivery schedules, handles D365 database operations for purchase order, stock, and delivery control, and manages BOM, production planning, and labor purchase order transactions.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Analyzing forecast from the large Hyper Scale customer
- Compare last forecast and the latest forecast to find differences
- Estimate monthly sales based on the latest forecast
- Ask customers questions on forecast to smooth production planning
- Communicate with other teams to collect missing/additional information for planning
- Coordinate with multiple production entities
- Distribute the forecast with own analysis and findings
- Lead discussion of how to reflect the latest forecast into each production entity’s planning
- Manage and coordinate multiple purchase orders and logistical aspects
- Receive purchase orders for multiple different projects/delivery locations every week
- Closely monitor status of production, shipment to warehouse and shipment from warehouse
- Reflect changes in priority of production and delivery based on communication with customer and partners
- Handle ERP (D365) system: input purchase orders, issue sales orders, split or revise sales orders with delivery schedule, update stock and delivery information
- Propose improvements for D365 functions based on workflow needs
- Handle BOM, production planning, and labor purchase order transactions for affiliate company
- Input/update BOM and issue production planning and labor purchase orders in a timely manner
- Transfer finished goods to logistics partner’s warehouse for asset management
- Reconcile shortages at factory
- Reconcile finished goods inventory at logistics partner’s warehouse
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and evaluate systems/processes for improvement
- Involve with customer on system and process improvement projects
- Expand knowledge base within D365
- Interact with internal and external employees
- Develop and prepare executive/administrative reports as directed
- Support occasional matters as directed
- Basic understanding of fiber optic cabling, connectorization, and network components
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex production and logistics data
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change
- Strong analytical and project
Management skills - Proficiency in D365 systems and supply chain software
- Excellent knowledge and experience of quality assurance and control
- Preferable skill:
Rich knowledge and experience of VBA, Access, Java, or other programming tools with automation experience - Pressure for deadlines – short time frame responses
- Ability to process large amounts of email/chat traffic
- Ability to efficiently communicate with others by summarizing problem, question, status, without just forwarding messages
- Willingness to work as a team and provide leadership to the department
- Extremely well organized and capable of project management
- Proficiency with Microsoft products, especially Excel
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Bachelor's degree or minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience
- Proven experience within supply chain management, project management, inventory management or production management
