Job Title: Employment Litigation Paralegal

Location: San Jose, CA

Our law firm client seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Paralegal to support their attorneys in defending employers in a variety of employment-related matters. The ideal candidate has strong defense-side experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage cases from start to finish.

• Assist with defense of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage & hour, PAGA, and wrongful termination matters.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• Manage discovery, including document collection, review, and production.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial prep.
• Prepare deposition summaries, exhibits, and trial binders.
• Communicate with employer clients, HR teams, and opposing counsel.
• Maintain case calendars and billing entries.

• 3+ years of employment defense or defense-side litigation experience.
• Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Strong writing, research, and case-management skills.
• Experience with e-filing and litigation software.

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 – $120,000 annually
. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
