Insurance Defense Attorney

Base pay range

$65.00/hr - $75.00/hr

Beacon Hill's client, a national law firm, is seeking a contract litigation attorney for their San Jose, CA, office.

•

Location:

San Jose, CAHybrid - must be available for in-office work as needed)

• Duration:
Ongoing, potentially 6+ months with the possibility of direct hire (Concurrent employment not permitted)

Qualifications

• Active California bar licensed in good standing

• 1+ year of experience in insurance defense and/or other defense-side litigation attorney experience.

Duties (including but not limited to)

• Drafting discovery, preparing expert disclosures, and covering simple depositions.

• Legal research, briefing, procedure, and advocacy.

• This position would potentially involve supporting a partner in trying cases in front of a jury, when possible.
